Refund and Fraud Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

This Policy explains how AI News Generator handles refunds, failed-generation credits, billing errors, unauthorized payments, chargebacks, and fraud for purchases made through ainewsgenerator.net.

If you have a billing or access problem, contact [email protected] before opening a payment dispute. Include your account email, order number, payment date, and a clear description of the problem. This Policy does not limit consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

1. Products, Credits, and Billing

AI News Generator sells access to digital AI-generation services. Offers may include:

  • Fixed-term annual access with an included credit balance
  • One-time credit packs with a stated validity period
  • Recurring access only when renewal is clearly disclosed at checkout

The pricing and checkout pages show the amount charged, currency, included credits, access or credit-validity period, and whether the purchase renews. Review those terms before payment.

Generation costs vary by model, duration, resolution, quality, and settings. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable outside the Service, and expire at the end of their stated validity period. Expired or unused credits are not automatically refundable.

Payments may be processed by Stripe, Creem, or another authorized provider. You are responsible for taxes, exchange-rate differences, and fees charged independently by your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

2. Credit Restoration for Failed Generations

A failed generation and a monetary refund are different remedies.

If our systems confirm that a generation failed before a usable result was delivered, the credits charged for that task may be restored automatically. A restored credit keeps the validity rules of the relevant purchase and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Credits are generally not restored merely because:

  • The result is subjective, unexpected, or different from the prompt
  • A generated face, voice, movement, subtitle, style, or composition is imperfect
  • Processing takes longer than estimated
  • You selected the wrong model, settings, duration, aspect ratio, or source file
  • The Input was incomplete, unsupported, low quality, unlawful, or rejected by a safety system

If an eligible failed task was charged and credits were not restored, contact us with the generation identifier and approximate time of the attempt.

3. Refund Requests

3.1 How to request a refund

Email [email protected] promptly after discovering the issue. Provide your account email, order number, payment date, amount, and reason for the request. We may request additional information to verify the purchase and investigate usage.

3.2 Requests we may approve

Subject to verification and applicable law, we may approve a full or partial refund for:

  • A duplicate charge for the same purchase
  • A confirmed unauthorized transaction reported by the payment-account holder
  • An incorrect amount or product caused by our checkout system
  • A material platform-side access failure that prevents use of the purchased Service and cannot be resolved or reasonably replaced
  • Another circumstance where a refund is required by law

3.3 Requests generally not eligible

Unless required by law, refunds are generally not available for:

  • Credits or access that have been used, partially used, transferred, or allowed to expire
  • Change of mind after digital access or generation capacity has been delivered
  • Dissatisfaction with subjective AI-output quality, accuracy, style, realism, similarity, or prompt adherence
  • Delays, queue times, model changes, provider outages, or feature changes that do not prevent material use of the purchased Service
  • Failure to review the price, validity period, included credits, renewal disclosure, system requirements, or product description
  • Problems caused by your device, browser, network, source material, third-party account, bank, or payment provider
  • Inability to use content on a third-party publishing or social platform
  • Suspension or termination resulting from a violation of our Terms
  • Fraud, account sharing, promotion abuse, automated abuse, prohibited content, or chargeback abuse
  • Taxes, exchange-rate differences, card fees, bank fees, or other charges not collected by us

3.4 Review and outcome

We review requests using order records, account activity, credit usage, generation history, technical logs, communications, and policy compliance. Approval of one request does not guarantee approval of another.

If approved, a refund is normally sent to the original payment method. Processing time depends on Stripe, Creem, your bank, and the card network. Refunded purchases may result in removal of unused credits or termination of the corresponding access.

4. Recurring Charges and Cancellation

A purchase renews only if recurring billing is clearly disclosed at checkout. If you purchase recurring access, you authorize charges at the disclosed interval until cancellation.

You may cancel recurring billing through an available billing portal or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges and takes effect at the end of the paid period unless checkout or applicable law provides otherwise. Cancellation does not automatically refund a charge that has already completed.

Fixed-term annual access and one-time credit packs do not renew automatically unless the checkout page expressly states otherwise.

5. Unauthorized Payments

If you believe a payment method was used without authorization, contact us and your payment provider promptly. We may ask you to verify account ownership, payment details, access logs, and related facts.

We may restrict the associated account while investigating. If we confirm unauthorized use, we may reverse the affected purchase, remove related credits, secure or close the account, and cooperate with the payment provider or lawful authorities.

6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Please contact us before opening a chargeback so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

When a payment dispute is opened, we may provide the payment processor, bank, or card network with information relevant to the transaction, including the order, checkout disclosure, account ownership, sign-in activity, credit usage, generation records, support history, and applicable policies.

We may temporarily restrict credits, downloads, generations, or account access while a dispute is pending. If a payment is reversed, the related credits and access may be removed. False, abusive, or repeated disputes may result in account termination and recovery of costs where permitted by law.

7. Fraud and Abuse Prevention

We and our providers may use automated and manual controls to identify stolen payment methods, suspicious orders, account takeovers, account sharing, multiple-account abuse, false billing information, manipulated referrals, promotion abuse, automated generation abuse, attacks, and attempts to evade restrictions.

We may delay or cancel an order, require verification, restrict credits, suspend an account, preserve records, or report suspected misconduct to payment providers, fraud-prevention services, or lawful authorities. We will handle related personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

  1. Policy Changes

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our products, payment methods, providers, or legal obligations. The "Last updated" date identifies the current version. Changes do not reduce rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
